The texture feels like a haori (Japanese coat) you'd find at a ryokan (Japanese inn). My aunt says it's wool. The color in the fifth photo, at the edge, is the closest to the actual color. There are stains overall on the white parts, as seen in the fifth photo. There's a little bit of glitter (photos 6 and 7), but you can barely see it. There are loose threads and holes (moth-eaten?). I don't know if the lining of the sleeves is originally this color or if it's yellowed. It might be usable for remaking/upcycling. The yellowing and stains are not very noticeable due to the pattern.
