A model supervised by Mr. Furuyama, also known as Saltman, the leading authority on shore red sea bream. Specifically designed to easily handle metal jigs around 30g and catch red sea bream, including large ones, from the shore. Unlike shore jigging rods, the tip is a soft, fast taper to ensure solid hooksets on the characteristic "gutsy" bites of red sea bream. However, the belly to butt section possesses tenacious power to withstand occasional large bluefish. The PE line used is around #1.5, thinner than for shore jigging, hence the small-diameter guide setting specifically for thin PE lines. Furthermore, to achieve lightness and sensitivity, the top and tip guides employ the highest grade titanium frames and Torzite rings, realizing the best casting feel and high sensitivity. The blank utilizes Toray's NANOALLOY® technology, achieving the contradictory elements of lightness and strength. Not only metal jigs, but also light tai-rubber and minnows can be cast. It also responds excellently to flatfish targeting.
