The locomotive buttons and low-back straps with locomotive prints suggest this was workwear for railroad workers. Bar tacks are also present on the edges of the tool pocket, indicating sturdy construction. The fabric is a light-ounce, dark indigo denim characteristic of older eras. Of course, it has never been washed and is still crisp. The size is approximately 34-35 inches, which is slightly small for overalls. The straps are sewn and fixed at their maximum length. Because the straps are short, they barely fit a person of average build who is 165cm tall. Modifying them, such as by adding fabric, would allow people of many heights and builds to wear them.
