This is a GRAPHTECH PS-8001-L0. The photos show a set of 6, but this is a single saddle for sale. The package, spare screws, and hex wrench are not included. I am selling one saddle, as shown in the second photo. Please note that this is for left-handed Fender American Standard series Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars made approximately between 1986 and 2007 (there may be some exceptions, so please confirm compatibility yourself). *By purchasing this item, you are agreeing to the above conditions, and cancellations will not be accepted.* As you may know, these saddles are advertised as being resistant to string breakage. The strings move on the saddle, and with continued playing, a thin Teflon film is created. This acts as a lubricant, preventing the strings from being overly fixed to the saddle and spreading the concentrated stress over a wider area. This is how this product reduces string breakage. String Saver saddles are also said to produce a deep, crisp sound like that of vintage steel saddles, and ultimately improve sustain. In fact, Eric Johnson, who favors vintage tones, uses String Savers only for the 1st string saddle. This is thought to soften the harsh sound of the high E string on a Stratocaster while improving the balance with the other strings. If you'd like to try a similar setup, please consider this item. Currently, a set of 6 costs around 7,000 yen at Soundhouse, but it took 4 months to get it. It would probably be more expensive at other stores that have them in stock.
