This is a square plate designed by Sylvia Leuchovius (シルヴィア・レウショヴィウス) from the atelier works of the renowned Swedish kiln, Rörstrand (ロールストランド). Works by Sylvia Leuchovius are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. The deep black glaze features a fantastical motif of fruit, resembling apples, which is often seen in her works, depicted in the center. The subtle variations and textures of the glaze, characteristic of handmade pieces, are superb, creating a highly atmospheric item that changes its expression depending on the light. It is in good condition with no cracks or chips. There are glaze imperfections, lines, and bubbles, but these are from the time of production. (Please check the photos.)
