This particular instrument has a modest tiger-stripe pattern, but the calm wood grain is a very expressive individual, with tiger stripes appearing depending on the viewing angle. The quality and dryness of the wood are extremely excellent, making it a charming Special series that maintains a stable tone even after more than 50 years. Much of the work was done by hand by old craftsmen, and the meticulousness of the detailed finishing and balance adjustment stands out. It is evaluated as having a "flavor" and "reverberation" that cannot be obtained with modern mass-produced violins.
