This is an old Imari soba choko (small bowl for soba noodles) from the late Edo period. Upon inspection, there are cracks throughout the piece. This is original to the piece. There are three small chips on the rim (with a sticker). There is some sticking on the center of the bottom. The lattice pattern is lovely. As this is a handmade, old ceramic piece, it is not perfect, unlike modern industrial products. Please understand this beforehand.
