I decided to start playing the horn and previously found and acquired a King instrument that I love here. This instrument is a full double, but my brain can't quite grasp reading F horn music and playing it on a B♭ horn, so I'm currently playing an F single. Of course, I also use a King instrument for the F horn. There are many dents, and some areas where the lacquer has discolored after being re-soldered (photos 5, 6, and 7). The rotary valves and tuning slides function normally. It shows considerable signs of use, but it's a King, and it plays with no stress. My personal favorite points are the distinctive small-diameter 4th rotary valve, which appears to rotate 120 degrees, and the unique shape of the B♭ side 3rd slide, which looks a little cute (photos 9 and 10).
