It's from 1988, with the AD notation. This is what is known as old Garcons. The designer was Rei Kawakubo, the founder, who was in charge of the line in parallel with Homme Plus before it was taken over by Mr. Tanaka (Tanaka Homme). The body is made of a rare cotton and wool blend. The beautiful silhouette has two tucks, a roomy waist, and a gentle taper towards the hem. The fuzziness on the surface of the body due to aging is a nice touch.
