The following is an excerpt from an online article: ◼️This putter was released during the period when Mizuno and master putter maker Scotty Cameron collaborated from around 1991 to 1992, before Cameron signed a contract with Titleist. The M-200 is one of the "The Reason" series, and models such as the M-100, M-300, and M-400 also existed. Scotty Cameron became independent in 1991 with the aim of creating his own putters, and the first advisory contract he signed was with Mizuno of Japan. The "Scotty Cameron Mizuno M-100" was announced at the PGA Show the following year, and it gained attention when Jack Nicklaus used it at the 1992 U.S. Open. The M-200 is a model that has the back part of the M-100 shaved off to lower the center of gravity and distribute the weight. Design and Feel The M-200 features a thick face and a smooth face with shallow milling grooves, creating a classic blade type that produces a solid feel. The head is based on black and finished with no plating or gun blue, and the words "Scotty Cameron" are engraved in cursive on the face.
