Thank you for viewing. This item was originally attached to a full-size, domestically-made used double bass that I purchased, with the bow hair and strings replaced with new ones. I believe it's still usable, but I'm unsure of the degree of deterioration. Also, although it was in the bag shown in the image, I'm not certain if the strings match the contents. I believe they are Pirastro strings without a doubt. If you are concerned, please check the winding thread, etc. Please purchase with the above in mind. I apologize, but please refrain from price negotiations. I would like to recoup some of the expenses, as new strings are incredibly expensive.
