This is a gorgeous and simple patterned fukuro obi (bag-style obi). It looks golden depending on how the light hits it, which is lovely. This obi would be perfect for coming-of-age ceremonies and other formal occasions. The simple colors make it easy to coordinate with various kimonos, and it would also work well with visiting kimonos (homongi) and other styles. As it is an older piece, it could also be used as material for remaking/upcycling. I used it twice, for my coming-of-age ceremony and a wedding.
