This is a shabby chic vintage mirror. Originally, it appears to have been the natural color of the wood, but it has been repainted off-white. Over time, it has acquired scratches, scuffs, stains, and paint loss, creating a powerful, authentic shabby chic atmosphere. Recently, there has been a rise in "shabby chic style" or "vintage-look" interiors that intentionally create a worn appearance. However, this is not one of those with an artificial, cheap material and finish; this mirror offers the experience of "real shabby chic." High-quality wood and mirror are used. The frame is made of 1.9mm thick, dense wood, and the finish is not a simple flat one. Instead, the center of each side is raised (see images 5-8), and it features a dot-like decoration that looks like beads. In addition, the mirror has angled cuts on each side, preventing a flat impression and creating shadows and three-dimensionality, which adds to the atmosphere (there are no noticeable scratches or stains on the mirror surface). Sturdy hanging hardware is attached to the back, allowing for vertical or horizontal hanging.
