It hasn't been used, but there is some aging and minor staining. I think it can still be used. It's a mini size, so how about taking it with you when traveling or going out? It might be nice for writing tanka, haiku, or sumi-e (ink wash painting) while traveling. Also, there is no extension rod for the brush, so it can only be used at its original length. This item has been stored at home for a long time, so please consider purchasing it if you understand this.
