This is a set of four standard D'Addario Helicore cello strings (4/4). These strings are in good condition, having been removed from a newly purchased instrument in November of last year. As you probably know, Helicore strings offer the best cost performance, especially with the recent rise in cello string prices. They are still more flexible and easier to play than any of the latest strings. The A and D strings are titanium wound, providing a bright and ultra-fast response, while the lower strings are luxuriously wound with tungsten and silver, producing a deep and mellow tone.
