Stored in a non-smoking home without pets. I successfully negotiated and purchased this at the Best Flea Market in the Tokyo International Forum Plaza (a stand right outside Yurakucho Station) several years ago for 8,000 yen. There was a slightly larger one available, but it was over 10,000 yen, so I couldn't afford it... The condition is relatively good, but please understand that there are some scratches and stains. Ultimately, I had no use for it and kept it wrapped up and stored in a closet without displaying it. I would be happy to sell it at a reasonable price to someone who appreciates it. It's a replica of an enamel sign from a pre-war Diamond Shochu store, and the size is approximately 40 x 10 cm (measured by an amateur), which is quite impressive. I am not an expert in antiques from the Taisho or Showa eras, so I don't know the exact year, but judging by the typeface, it seems quite old. When I showed it to someone in their 70s or 80s, they said, "Oh, how nostalgic!" so I believe the design is at least 60 years old or more.
