Used when switching shakuhachi during a performance. This is a set of two. The material is a light wood, possibly paulownia. It is coated with something like black lacquer. It appears to have been used several times, and there are scuff marks on the surface that touches the floor. There are a few small, inconspicuous scratches. The drawstring bag for storing this item has been lost. (Note) The shakuhachi in photo 3 is not for sale.
