Normal oxidation firing (firing with sufficient oxygen) Next, reduction firing (firing by smoking without sufficient oxygen) And the most difficult is carbonization firing, which involves smoking with soot. This is a firing method we challenged to bring out a gold color on the brushstrokes, excluding overglaze painting. The brick color of the pot is due to the absorption of carbon, which turns it red. This firing method is rarely used by anyone other than ceramic artists. The pot itself is safe for direct fire and can be used as is. (No seasoning required) Not compatible with IH.
