The design is luxurious and beautiful, so it could also be enjoyed as a placemat or, due to its sheerness, as a decorative item with some creative arrangement. This item has been stored at home for a long time. There is a slight storage odor. Upon inspection, there are some small white speckles on the underside of the part that becomes the "o-taiko" (drum-shaped knot). These will not be visible when the obi is sewn.
