This is a Y'2 LEATHER G-ジャン (Type 1) wartime model. This is a special order from Barnstormer in Gotemba, and it's slightly different from the standard Y'2 LEATHER G-ジャン type. It has a brown core, but the base color is more of an orange, and the brown core will become more prominent with age. Also, the outer leather is glossier than the regular product, allowing for more dramatic aging. As a wartime model, it has no chest pocket flaps and four laurel leaf buttons on the chest. There is one thing to note: As shown in photos 15 and 16, there is a small scratch on the lower back that I don't know how it happened, and the brown core is visible there. I think it will become less noticeable as the brown core develops throughout the jacket, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I will sell it at a lower price because of this. Other than that, there are no other scratches, and the natural aging has brought out the brown core in places, making it a very tasteful piece. I purchased it in November 2023 and have worn it for two years. I think the aging will progress from now on, and a powerful brown core will appear.
