Set of two Mina Perhonen tambourine plates. They have been stored unused. They were opened for photography, but have not been washed. Currently out of stock, making them difficult to obtain. This is a phenomenon where organic matter attached to the clay burns off when glazing, creating small indentations. The glaze is applied by hand. While the glaze concentration and application method are kept uniform, each piece has a unique appearance due to slight temperature variations during firing and unevenness in the clay structure. Black spots may appear on the surface due to particles in the clay rising to the surface. Dishwashers, microwaves, and ovens are not recommended for use.
