I found this while cleaning out my parents' house. This is a Royal Copenhagen year plate (2003), manufactured annually since 1908. The design mold for each year's plate is destroyed after production is finished, so there is no subsequent mass production. This makes them valuable to collectors. 2003 (Heisei 15) Design It depicts a small boy proudly holding a Christmas present. In the background, there is a father holding a Christmas tree, and this little boy is delivering the present to his close friends. Eventually, the father and son return home through the fresh snow to their family, and they all decorate the Christmas tree together.
