Starbucks Reserve Roastery JIMOTO Made+ Hagi Mug "Usurai" (Pale Indigo) 355ml A limited-edition mug created in collaboration between Starbucks and "Hagi-yaki Hagi Toen," a pottery studio in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The pale indigo color and the gradation of the glaze create a beautiful finish. Hagi-yaki is a type of pottery from Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with a history of over 400 years. It is fired slowly at a low temperature, resulting in less shrinkage and a soft, earthy texture, making it lightweight and excellent at retaining heat. Another characteristic is the "Kirikouda," a cut made in the foot of the mug (see photo 10). The rounded shape allows you to enjoy the aroma of the coffee. Each piece is handmade, so no two are exactly alike, a true "once-in-a-lifetime" encounter with Hagi-yaki... We hope it will find its way into the hands of someone who appreciates it.
