This is a flat chasing tool for bezel setting cabochons approximately 10mm in diameter. A commercially available red chasing tool has been shaped and polished. It has not been hardened. The corners have a radius (curve). The striking surface is almost flat, so please lightly grind it to a radius if necessary. You can use it as is, but the striking surface will get scratches and roughness with use.
