This is a paperback edition of "The Mysterious Transfer Student," a science fiction juvenile mystery novel by Takashi Mayumura, which was adapted into a drama on NHK General's "Shonen Drama Series." I believe I purchased this when it was adapted into a drama again in 2014 on TV Tokyo's "Drama 24," starring Aoi Nakamura, Kanata Hongo, and Minami Sakurai, with a script by Shunji Iwai. It's a very easy read, as it's divided into 20 short chapters. It's nostalgic for adults and fresh for those who are new to it.
