High-quality silk fabric, long-term storage This rare piece is full of texture and style, featuring a gradation of tones from light brown to khaki green on a dark brown base with uneven dyeing, and an abstract pattern like free drawing that moves and reflects intricately on the fine 3mm square checkered weave. The stylishness of the fabric is such that it appears dark brown at first glance, but reveals nuances upon closer inspection; the photos from the 13th one onward capture the actual color of the fabric. This is a high-quality item in good condition that my fashion-loving mother purchased from a high-end silk shop in Ginza and stored for a long time without having it made into anything. The price tags attached to similar remnants were all over 70,000 yen for a full garment's worth, so this fabric, which is over 4.4 meters long, must have been quite expensive.
