Fukuro Obi (Pure Silk) This is a fukuro obi (pure silk) with a purple base. It has been worn three times: for a pre-ceremony photoshoot for Seijinshiki (Coming of Age Day), on the day of Seijinshiki, and at a friend's wedding. It has been stored at home since then. After I started wearing kimono as a visiting kimono by cutting the sleeves of my furisode (long-sleeved kimono), I no longer had the opportunity to wear this obi. Also, there are no people around me celebrating Seijinshiki. In my personal opinion, the purple color leans towards black, giving it a mature and cool atmosphere. I believe it's an obi that can give a wonderful, feminine aura on the special occasion of adulthood. It was purchased at a kimono specialty store, so I believe the quality is excellent.
