This is a custom-made hosozao shamisen. Re-imagined as "Kyodai-bune" (Brother Ship), "Gikyodai" (Sworn Brothers) - Younger Brother Spec! The torn skin has been removed, replaced with flat cardboard, and covered with a plastic-based remake sheet. The back has been treated similarly with cardboard. It's not quite a Bali shamisen, but I think it has a good feel. Pegs are pearl white painted. The end of the neck is gold, and the body side has ring wrapping. No tenjin (headstock) cracks. Includes a bachi (plectrum) and spare strings. Everything in the photos is included. It will be disassembled for shipping, but I'll make it easy to reassemble. It might seem like I'm joking around, but I made this with serious care and attention. "Hiyon" is the image girl for my products. She's from T-Zuka, a shamisen master of Ehime folk songs who also does dance, ballet, and horseback riding.
