I've had this item for over 10 years, gathering dust on a shelf since I acquired it as a used item. I'm now selling it to clear out space. This is a 1/72 scale resin (polyurethane resin) model kit of a BAe Jetstream 31M, released by the very British brand, Rag Rat resins. The propellers and landing gear appear to have parts made of white metal. The canopy (and the surrounding exterior panels) seems to be vacuum-formed from PVC, but it has yellowed, and will likely be unusable unless it's somehow re-formed. Unfortunately, the original resin parts for re-forming are nowhere to be found, which suggests this will be a difficult task. Frankly, I think it would be far easier and result in a better finish to get and build an injection-molded kit of the same scale, so I can't recommend this kit unless you're someone who really wants a challenge, a true eccentric, or someone who really wants to replicate the nose with the radome. The original box, instructions, and decals (possibly for the Royal Saudi Air Force?) are included, but the decals also have numerous cracks on the surface, so it's uncertain whether they can be used. More than just junk, this is now a collector's item, but for experienced veterans, how about taking this opportunity? I plan to use Rakuraku Mercari delivery service and will pack it in a cardboard box with bubble wrap.
