I cut down a chestnut tree and made this firewood splitting block from the same tree. The horizontal chestnut wood is limited in quantity, so please consider it. *To ensure long-lasting use, I've applied 100% plant-based oil.* It's safe for food preparation. Both sides are finished to bring out the beautiful wood grain. Materials: Chestnut wood from Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture Production Process: ① Cut horizontally at a sawmill. It's cut by machine, so it's perfectly level. ② Water drying for a certain period to increase strength. ③ Belt sanding on both sides ④ Washing and drying ⑤ Applying oil. ⑥ Drying This firewood splitting block is made with great care. Because I use expensive oil on both sides, this firewood splitting block is priced higher. m(__)m You can use it immediately as a firewood splitting block, but please understand that natural cracks may occur over time due to the nature of the wood. Cracks may occur due to drying, so please avoid direct sunlight and store it in a well-ventilated place. m(_ _)m Please be careful as mold can also grow if not stored in a well-ventilated place. This chestnut wood has been dried and water-dried for a certain period, so it has good strength.
