Thank you for viewing. This is a pair set of Mashiko-yaki cups and saucers. ● Tsukamoto is the largest kiln in Mashiko-yaki, founded in 1947. They are a wonderful kiln that not only preserves tradition but also actively creates new products through collaborations with famous designers. ● The saucers can be used on their own! The saucers do not have a recess for the cup, so they can be used as small plates on their own. ※ There are some stains, so the price has been reduced. The stains are easier to see in the photos from the 8th image, which were taken in a darker place. The photos from the 2nd to 7th image were taken in a brighter place. There are whitish stains. 【 ※ Important Notes ※ 】 ● Mashiko-yaki uses glazes made primarily from natural materials, so please enjoy the color variations as part of the pottery's unique character. ● Fine cracks are formed when firing due to the different shrinkage rates of the clay body and the glaze. This is called "nyunyu" (crazing) and is a characteristic of pottery. ● Dishwashers and microwaves can be used. However, dishes may chip if they hit each other in the dishwasher. Also, when using a microwave, avoid sudden cooling of hot dishes, as this can cause breakage.
