This is a teapot from the Azur series by the master Danish product designer Jens. H. Quistgaard. There are two sizes available, and this is the large size. The entire piece is decorated with a plum flower design. The matte brown color with its subdued tones is a very beautiful feature of this product. Production numbers were low, making this a rare item. This relief series was manufactured by three companies as times changed: Kronjyden, Nissen, and Bing & Grondahl. Therefore, the markings vary depending on the era. The early Kronjyden kiln products had only a sticker → only a mark, so the markings on the back vary. This product was manufactured in the 1960s during the Kronjyden period. Condition: It is in very good condition with no noticeable scratches or chips.
