This item was purchased used. The set includes one full loop of track, 27 train cars (photos 1 and 8), and 6 types of power car covers (photo 4). There are two powered cars (Doctor Yellow and SL), but you can swap the covers to play with other types of trains. The powered cars have been tested and are working. Batteries are not included. There are some minor scratches, but there is no problem with playing with them. #Plarail
