I bought these new, wore them twice during one season, and they've already been outgrown. The soles have metal cleats for added grip, making them less likely to slip on icy surfaces. They were worn by a female elementary school student. I am a non-smoker and do not own any pets. Please assess the condition of the item based on the images.
