This is a unique, refreshing knit fabric made in Wakayama Prefecture using Mino Washi, an expensive eco-friendly paper material with a long history in Japan. It offers a unique, refreshing feel that cotton cannot replicate. Washi, like linen, provides a cool sensation. Compared to cotton and linen, it is exceptionally lightweight and boasts excellent moisture absorption and release properties. In ancient Japan, it was considered a high-end material, alongside silk. Due to the high cost of the yarn compared to linen, it is rarely seen as fabric or finished products in the market. Washing is the same as regular cotton. The knit fabric has excellent elasticity and is wrinkle-resistant, with a moderate thickness, making it easy to use in any season.
