I purchased this rod a few years ago and used it for actual fishing three times. After each use, I rinsed it with tap water and stored it. There's a chip-like mark 14mm from the tip of the rod, but it was there when I bought it. See the fourth photo. It doesn't affect the use of the rod. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. Thank you.
