The Glitter model, which is one of the early types, uses high-quality parts, making it ideal for customization. Especially in this class, many instruments use one-piece pressed water keys, but this instrument uses solid, machined parts, demonstrating a commitment to quality. This specification is also used in Yamaha's intermediate grade instruments and above. This instrument was in good condition, almost unused. Furthermore, the following customizations were implemented to upgrade the playing feel, achieving specifications comparable to higher-end instruments. By reversing all slides, a comfortable playing feel is achieved across all ranges. ■ Rebuilt to a reverse tuning slide Extending the lead pipe provides smoothness and stability. No stress accumulates even during long hours of playing. In addition, moving the front bell brace backward amplifies the vibration of the bell tip, generating rich overtones. ■ Replacement of the 3rd slide finger ring with a fixed type While the movable finger ring has the advantage of being able to set it to your preferred position, it can become loose over time, causing stress for the player. ■ Rebuilt the 2nd slide to reverse Air flows smoothly when the valve is opened. ★ Condition ■ The lacquer is 100% intact. It maintains the condition of a new instrument. ■ Soldering marks from the customization process remain in some areas (processed to be inconspicuous). ■ Each slide and piston valve operates smoothly. ■ After customization, this instrument was taken to a jazz large ensemble and test-played. The piston valves and each slide move smoothly, and the airtightness is perfect. It can produce sound without any problems from pedal G to Hi G. The effect of changing the mounting position of the front bell brace is evident.
