I have deconstructed a formal kimono with five crests. It's thin crepe from the Taisho era, and you can faintly see through it, so it's likely woven with tightly twisted threads, similar to Edo crepe. The navy color is more subdued and has a vintage feel than in the photos. There is some fading on the front side. As this is a valuable antique fabric, I hope you can use the less faded reverse side for your craft projects. Please check the photos for the condition of the fading and wrinkles. The sizes are as follows: 30cm x 52cm 7.5cm x 52cm (2 pieces) 15cm x 17cm (2 pieces) After deconstruction, I washed it with water and dried it in the shade to remove dust accumulated over time.
