Made of genuine silk, it not only looks gorgeous but also provides firm support. Mainly a white marugumi cord (round braid) with gold threads, one side has a combination of white (2 strands), gold, and purple (leaning towards reddish-purple) in 4 strands, with a combination of large and small (thick and thin) strands, making it even more glamorous when tied in a decorative knot. The pearls in the center look like an obi-dome (decorative clasp for an obi) and are lovely.
