Graduated from Joshibi University of Art and Design. Studied under Keisuke Serizawa. She has traveled to many countries and creates tapestries, rugs, and dyed cloths that express the landscapes, plants, people, and cultures of nature with her unique aesthetic sense and philosophy. Using traditional techniques such as tsutsugaki dyeing and woodblock printing, along with her own research, she creates works with a transparent, light-like color palette and bold, simple forms, expressing her desire to convey the beauty of the Earth to the future. Her works are exhibited in national and international exhibitions, primarily at the Kokuga-kai (National Painting Association), and are collected by museums, theme parks, and public buildings.
