L.L.Bean x Hamilton Double Name 33mm A rare watch. This is a civilian product based on the Hamilton khaki, which was adopted by the US military during the Vietnam War. Normally, it's a mechanical 921980, but it seems that quartz watches with the same model number were mixed in, limited to the initial models. The protective film on the back cover has not been peeled off, and since I also mostly displayed it after purchasing it from a vintage shop in the US, it remains attached. In the 7th photo, I've peeled back the protective film slightly to make it easier to see. There are some slight cracks and scratches on the crystal, and minor scratches on the case, but I think it's in good condition considering its age. Personally, I left it as is for its character, but there seem to be specialty stores that will replace the crystal with one that is as close to the original as possible, so you might want to consider that as well. Regarding the operation, it keeps time without any problems. When you bring it close to your ear, you can hear a pleasant ticking sound. Although it's a model without a date function, it has a mysterious specification where it makes a clicking sound when you turn the crown one step out. Setting the time can be done smoothly without any problems by pulling the crown out two steps. It also has a luminous function, and it glows without any issues. I'm not very knowledgeable about watches, but there's no doubt that it's a rare model! This is an early model from the 80-82's, not a reissue. If you were looking for one, please consider it!
