Eventually, the war ended, and when the Netherlands and Britain tried to reoccupy the area, the members of the youth training center began a fight for Indonesian independence = Merdeka. Shimazaki and others also stand up together... A large-scale war spectacle depicting the complex relationship between Indonesia and Japan and the historical fact that the country achieved independence from it. Although there are parts of the production side's message that we cannot agree with, which states that Japan's Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere policy led the country to independence, the battle scenes filmed on location in Indonesia for a long period of time are quite powerful.
