This is an 80s SEIKO octagon clock. It's not round or square, but octagonal. The rich, maroon-colored wooden frame surrounding the white dial has a retro feel. It has a lacquer-like texture. The minute track in the center of the dial is not flat, but slightly recessed, providing a three-dimensional effect and improved visibility. The unique font of the indices, typical of clocks from this era, is also appealing. The frame is assembled with screws, indicating careful craftsmanship (current clocks are mostly snap-fit, completely eliminating labor-intensive processes like screw fastening). Made in Japan, of course. Nowadays, clocks are cheaply made in China and other Asian countries, but in the 80s, clocks held a legitimate "interior design" position, with high-quality materials and well-considered designs, resulting in higher prices. Therefore, today's clocks are completely "different." The condition has some minor scratches, but as shown in the images, there are no noticeable scratches, stains, cracks, or chips, and it is in good condition.
