No. 246 Set of two old dustpans. Found at a flea market in Paris, France. Made of papier-mâché, compressed paper coated with glue. Era: Napoleon III Unique shell-shaped dustpans. A presence that seems to traverse classical and modern styles. The star pattern (asterisk) that appears on the black base evokes the world of the circus. The edges are also subtly colored in the same shade. You can tie a string to hang them, and they are also attractive tools as interior decorations or storage. Also great for collections. Two pieces with different expressions, with no major damage. We are not considering selling them separately. I wiped them several times with a tightly wrung wet cloth, but they are well-used tools, so there are stains that cannot be completely removed, scratches and scuffs from aging, and traces of labels affixed by the previous owner.
