It's capable of producing a booming low end and slap sounds. As you can see, the construction is based on a simple stake-driven design, so fine tuning isn't possible. I used to put a hand dryer in the case. It produces a very tight low end when drying. It's a drum that can be played with sticks, but I recommend playing it with your bare hands like a low-pitched conga! I've attached three legs to the bottom for flat placement. The clip-like parts in the image were attached to hold a clip-on microphone. They can be removed. How about a piece of indigenous craftsmanship? I'm also selling the 8-inch Ngoma in the last image.
