Thank you for viewing. This is a Cooke cine lens, Kinic 1 inch (approx. 25mm) f/1.5 C-mount. Originally designed for 16mm film, this cine lens has a wide image circle and covers even Micro Four Thirds cameras. I used it with a bmpcc4k. Although the periphery can be a bit wild, I believe this is a unique lens with an amazing three-dimensional feel, color rendition, a solid core from the wide-open aperture, and distinctive bokeh that evokes the "Cooke look." Including the fact that there are individual differences in coating and color tone between the early and late models, this is a very attractive lens for old cine lens enthusiasts. This particular lens appears to be a late model. While there are minor scratches and signs of aging on the exterior, the optics are in good condition considering its age. Please refer to the photos for details. There is some play in the helicoid, but this is a common characteristic of this lens. It is possible to reduce the play by lightly tightening the rear screw (see photo 14) (in which case the helicoid rotation will become stiffer).
