This is a completely remade Samue (Japanese work wear) made from authentic Oshima Tsumugi silk kimono. ♡ This fabric is Maruki-ori, so it doesn't have a glossy feel, but it is very soft and smooth to the touch. It's a lovely piece with chrysanthemum patterns drawn in blue thread. Red and orange accents are used in the center of the chrysanthemum patterns. ♡ Size is F size. The tie strings are adjustable. Please refer to the following for the size of each part. Dimensions are measured with the garment laid flat. *This is considered a new, unused item after the remake. Material: 100% silk Weight: Approximately 210g Length: Approximately 80cm Width: Approximately 67cm Sleeve Length: Approximately 57cm (from the collar to the cuff) 裄丈 (Yuki Length): Approximately 67.5cm (from the cuff to the center back) Underarm: Approximately 49cm Slits on both sides. Pocket on the right side (see image 9). Four tie strings. Please allow for slight variations in dimensions. ♡ You can easily wear it by tying the four tie strings. Also, areas that are subject to stress are sewn with a sewing machine, and delicate areas are carefully hand-sewn. ♡ This is a single-layered Oshima Tsumugi. There is no lining such as shoulder lining. ♡ Since it was once a kimono, there may be traces of the original sewing. *This is a remade item from a kimono purchased as Oshima Tsumugi. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned as there are no trademarks. ♡ My mother lovingly tailors each piece to allow you to casually wear traditional Japanese culture kimonos as everyday wear and work wear. ♡ Even with kimonos (new fabric), we wash them once before tailoring.
