Originally cookie cutters, these were aged outdoors in new condition since they weren't being used. I don't think the rust will change any further. Please consider using them outdoors, perhaps as part of a gardening display. I used to make small holes in each piece and connect them with wire, or hang them. They have a sooty feel and the powder easily falls off, but they don't seem to be crumbling. Please use gloves when handling them after shipping to avoid getting your hands dirty or injuring yourself.
