The material is denim with 7-count thick yarn for the warp, often seen in vintage denim, and 12-count yarn, which is thinner than usual, for the weft. Despite its solid vintage appearance, it is a lighter and softer selvedge denim than regular denim. Normally, it is very difficult to weave, and requires the skill of a craftsman who has made various improvements.
