There are many ballads and R&B singers. Seal movingly sings "Puff the Magic Dragon," and Natalie Cole's "Both Sides Now" demonstrates how timeless the old Joni Mitchell classic is. James Taylor and Carly Simon's memorable hit "Mockingbird" is also included. Cher delivers a predictable interpretation of "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella. Luther Vandross transforms the protest anthem "If I Had a Hammer" into a moving meditation on peace and equality.
